This postcard calendar presents a selection of James and Karla Murrays’ favorite images from their landmark book, STORE FRONT - THE DISAPPEARING FACE OF NEW YORK. The Murrays’ stunning photographs reveal the intricacies of an architectural and cultural heritage that is rapidly disappearing from the streets of this great metropolis. The signage, neon lights and window displays of neighborhood stores that have been around for decades if not generations are reproduced in their full glory.

The STORE FRONT CALENDAR is meant to be displayed on a desk or tabletop, offering a new encounter with New York’s “Mom and Pop” stores on a weekly basis. The calendar is self-supporting by means of a clever magnetic closure and each photo is a postcard, perforated for easy removal. The postcards may be collected and saved for later use in a pocket found on the back of the calendar.
